Why we give.
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
Ways To Give
Give Online
You can give online at this website by credit/debit card or by setting up a withdrawal from your checking account. If you give by credit/debit card there is an additional charge. It is nominal, but for the church it adds up. There is an option that you can choose to assist us in deferring the cost. We are also working on giving by text and will let everyone know when that process is completed.
Give In Person
Many people desire to give in person, while attending a worship service. At this time we are not passing the offering plate; however, one of our deacons will be at each of the tree primary doors to the worship center at the conclusion of the service. They will have with them an offering plate. All monies collected are then placed into a secure location until counted and deposited.
Mail A Check
Mailing in your check is also a common means of giving. This could be done by sending a check to our church office at First Baptist Church, 300 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC 29501. Banks will also allow you to set up a direct draft to be sent to the church as well.
