Japan Art Auction

Art Auction Guidelines

  • Bidding will open on Tuesday, October 1st at 9:00am. Bids can be placed in person at the church or online via our Facebook page. Pictures will be taken of each item and uploaded to the church Facebook page and will go live on October 1st at 9:00am.
  • Items will be displayed on the stage and along the sides of the Fellowship Hall. A bid sheet will be placed by each item for guests to bid. Online bids will be added to the paper bids periodically.
  • Bidding will close at Noon on Sunday, October 13th. The winner of each item will be announced at 5:45pm on Wednesday, October 16th during the church-wide fundraising dinner.
  • The Winner of each item must submit payment for the item by Monday, October 21st. Payment may be submitted in the following ways:
  • Cash put into a Church Envelope with your name, amount and the item you are paying for. It can then be placed in the offering plate or hand delivered to the church office.
  • Checks can be made out to “First Baptist Church” with “Art Auction” in the memo line and put in the offering plate or hand delivered to the church office.
  • Via the Realm App for those that have an account (please see Ashley for assistance)
  • By clicking the "Giving" tab above and using the Mission Trip/Tokyo tab.
  • All proceeds will benefit the team going on the Japan Mission Trip in April 2025.

Inspiration:    I have created a lot of stained-glass pieces and had glass left over that I wanted to use.  I found a website that offered free tutorials so I have been able to use the glass on small canvases or boards.  This piece is 4 x 12.
